Welcome to Blue Heron Music Studio. I am Jason Priest and this is my first blog post for the studio.
My family and I have vacationed at the Gulf for over 25 years! We love the area so much that we moved to Panama City Beach in 2018. We decided to follow our dreams, while we were still young enough to enjoy them.
Before opening Blue Heron Music Studio, I was the founder and owner of Little Rock Jams, the premier music studio in Central Arkansas.
Since opening in 2006, Little Rock Jams instructors have taught over 1500 students how to make music. We incorporated performance programs into our curriculum and were blessed to work with many talented musicians over the years!
For years, I've dreamed of teaching music on the beach. In 2017, my wife and I decided to make it a reality.
So, after a year of doing all the things necessary to move, like selling our house, closing my business in Little Rock, finding the perfect beach house, etc., I'm finally opening my private studio on the beach.
I offer music lessons for guitar, bass, ukulele, reading music, ear training, technique development, music theory, songwriting, performance programs, workshops, and jam sessions.
